New Swedish Voice: Alma
I've trained a new Swedish (sv_SE) female voice for Piper called Alma.
Details
- Language: Swedish (sv_SE)
- Gender: Female
- Quality: Medium (60 MB ONNX)
- Sample Rate: 22050 Hz
- Phonemizer: espeak-ng (sv)
- Training: 8000 epochs on NST Swedish TTS Dataset (CC BY 4.0)
- Performance: 0.04x real-time factor on RTX 4080

Motivation
Currently only one Swedish voice exists (nst). Alma provides an alternative trained for accessibility applications (screen readers, autism support apps for children).
Would love to have this included in the official piper-voices collection. Happy to provide files in any format needed.
